Celebrating my 54th birthday (April 2009)

I’m a former English as Second Language Teacher who is now in advertising. I have taught for Dallas Independent School District for 8 years and have also taught college students and foreign businessmen from Japan and Mexico.

My interests include anthropology, archaeology, history, computers, web design, photography, drawing,  music, opera, hiking, swimming, rafting, and tennis.

I was born in Oklahoma City, but started kindergarten in Wellington, KS. A year later, we moved to a suburb of Kansas City, MO called Gladstone. When I was in the 5th grade, we moved back to Oklahoma City. By the time, I was in high school, we moved to Arlington, TX where we stayed most of my life, so I guess I’m a Texan.

After my dad’s death in 1997, my mother, sister, and my sister’s daughter moved back to Oklahoma City after a 30 year absence. I moved to OKC 4 years ago just to be closer to family, but I’m ready to leave for another state. I guess I got Peter’s wandering gene!

I enjoyed reading about your family history. I’m in the process of doing the same. Could you send me an email, I have a question I think you can help me with. Thanks, Paul
